On Innovating Smartly
I didn’t set out to invent something entirely new; instead, I optimized what I already knew from my UI design experience. My improvements to the UI kit sparked a broader vision—using my skills to build a design system (Legion) that benefits all brands and teams in tackling digital product development effectively.
On Being Passion-Driven and Inclusive
This journey wasn’t easy. I had to identify and validate problems, conduct R&D, align design tools and frameworks, develop guidelines, and persuade stakeholders of the system’s value. Thanks to collaboration with fellow designers and support from management teams such as DPE, DPM, DOA, and DSC, I turned ideas into reality and grew into the lead of the Legion system.
On Sustaining Creativity
As a leader, I foster a collaborative and innovative environment where everyone's ideas are heard. To keep the creative process alive, I gather user feedback and share test results with the team. This iterative approach helps maintain consistency, fuels fresh initiatives, and aligns us with a clear roadmap.
